Hello and welcome to my website!
I am a Ramón y Cajal research professor at the UPF Barcelona School of Management at Pompeu Fabra University. I hold a Ph.D. in Management from the University of St. Gallen and a Diploma in Economics (M.Sc. equivalent) from the University of Heidelberg.
My research focuses on corporate strategy and examines decisions around a firm’s boundaries and profile of business lines, with particular interest in firm scope and resource allocation decisions following external shocks. My work has been published in leading academic journals, such as Management Science, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal.
My teaching includes courses in competitive strategy, corporate strategy, and business economics.
I currently serve as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Organization Design.
